Hi all,

Just a quick run-down on the August DubJUG meetup. It was smaller than usual (which was great because the venue wasn't going to seat as many as had turned up for the previous event) but the discussion was very entertaining nonetheless! The debate on the pros and cons of the Spring Framework (feel free to put you own points in via this blog if you wish) was the best bit of the night from a Java point of view. As usual there was also the usual plethora of non-Java related subjects such as the Tour de France and the Hell's Angels to name but a few.

Anyway for now just keep an eye out for the mail due on September 2nd to let you know about the meeting (venue mostly) on September 9th. I'm sure it won't be as horrible a night that night so we'll see more of you out.

Another thing that came from the night is that this website needs some work and maybe the addition of a wiki??? Anybody with any experience in PHP or Drupal that would like to donate any amount of time no matter how small I'd love to hear from.
