We are currently seeking to recruit a Jave / J2EE Developer for a 3 month contract with one of our city centre based clients. Responsbilities will include working as a member of a team to deliver robust, highly scalable and maintainable software solutions, diagnosing and solving functional and performance / scalability issues with product software, interacting with internal and external customers of the organisation, to define requirements and develop solutions and working effectively with QA to resolve open product issues in an efficient manner. The successful candidate will have at least 1 years experience developing web applications using java frameworks. Proven working experience of Java, XML and J2EE technologies are essential. Experience of Struts, JSP development, HTML / CSS / JavaScript, XML related technologies and Relational database design and SQL are all required.
