This is the Dublin Java Users Group inviting you to our July meeting:
Tuesday July 8th 7:30pm until about 10pm or so.

Theme for this months meeting:
We have, on many occasions discussed the various libraries, IDEs and other tools. This month we have decided to discus uses of Java big (such as mainframes) and small (such as mobile devices). What is the biggest machine you've ever heard of Java running on. Was it really taking on other mainframe programming language or scripting languages? What about the smallest? Have you written code for devices where you had to count every byte of memory being used and had to make sure you cleaned up after yourself EVERY time?

As usual the setting is informal. Discussions will be over a quiet drink in as quiet a corner of Thomas Reads as we can find. If you have other things you want to bring up that's no problem too, the theme is just a guideline to get discussions going.

Other subjects for discussion:

Hope to see as many of you there as possible. If you have never been before we encourage you to come check it out.
