Through innovation within the market place and increased product demand, my client – a leading financial software firm are seeking additional talent for their development team with a focus on new feature releases. You will be a Java / J2ee developer with a minimum of 8 years experience developing and delivering software products with a specific focus on server applications. You will be capable of working in a multi-tier environment and have comprehensive knowledge of JMS, EJB and core J2EE technologies. Candidates should have knowledge of Weblogic within a development environment and have a thorough understanding of J2EE container life cycle services. Additional exposure in some of the following is essential: Spring IDE’s such as Eclipse /Netbeans Hibernate JUnit JMeter Maven V.2 Tomcat v.6 Candidates will be intellectually agile and quick to learn new technology. You will have knowledge of design patterns and of high availability, redundancy failover. Linux knowledge preferred and candidates will ideally have exposure to oracle database infrastructure.
