Epicenter, IrishDev's 2009 conference runs from August 26th to 28th next in Trinity College, Dublin.

The conference features a Java track and also Web, Database, Open Source and Microsoft tracks. The Java track features some familar names along with what promises to be a couple of interesting sessions from new speakers.

Notably Doug Clark of Oracle and EclipseLink will be speaking about JPA 2.0, and Eugene Ciurana of Leap Frog Enterprises and author of one of the first books on Google's App Engine.
